Mom took us to see Sesame Street Live's Elmo Makes Music tonight at the RBC Center for Ian's birthday present! It was a complete surprise to Ian and Gavin. As we drove through the gates to get to the RBC Center, he asked if we were going to a NCSU basketball game (since RBC is the home court) and I reminded him it's not college basketball season! Well, we walked in and he saw the sign and yelled, "Elmo!" Gavin didn't quite understand until he actually saw the characters come out to perform! Mom got them these Elmo twirling light things and oh my gosh...we kept thinking Gavin was going to bonk his nose, but he never did! Both boys were definitely into the show and actively participating! When we got home, Gavin was telling Cailean, "Ian...me..atched Elmo!" It was a fun night. Thanks Mimi!
