Welcome to our first family blog! Hopefully you'll enjoy this site to read about Ian and Gavin as we share stories and pictures of their lives. It's amazing how fast they grow up!
We had a pretty busy day today. Ian graduated from the Kirk Children's Center! It seems like just yesterday Cailean and I were sitting in his 4-year old classroom for parent orientation as we met Miss Cathy and Miss Nancy for the first time. Where has the time gone? We took many pictures today and we captured some special moments of the program on videotape. Tomorrow is his official last day of pre-school as we close with a family picnic. With only 12 students in his class and many of them in Sunday School together, it's a tight group. A great bunch of kids and they will all go their separate ways for kindergarten. However, they'll be able to see each other every Sunday and seven of us have already scheduled weekly playdates at local parks during the summer.
Later this afternoon Ian had swim lessons and then we went straight to soccer practice. A busy Wednesday for all. Gavin kept up with us and loved the music program this morning and supported his big brother. He watched him during swim lessons and even was able to participate in Ian's soccer practice today! We were down players, so the head coach let Gavin do a few of the drills. He is quite a little soccer player!
