The Elephants played great today! It's so neat to watch this group play because most of the kids have been together since they first started the sport over a year ago. Ian contributed two goals for the Elephants today! For the first goal, he kicked the ball and it went between a defender's legs and then between the goalie's legs. The ball JUST crossed over the line, so it was a close call. The second goal was picture perfect! Ian received the ball from a teammate...he dribbled by some defenders and then a big, strong kick from the left side right into the goal. We have one more practice and one more game left and then we have to cross our fingers that we got into soccer for the fall season. We have to do late registration since we're not Morrisville residents and then we have to wait until the coaches meet and see if Rob can get us on the team.
Gavin is napping now and then we're off to Nick's birthday party. Nick is a member of the Elephants and a good friend of Ian's.

Hooray for Ian! Two goals...great job dude! Your Aunt Megan and Uncle Neal are so proud of you! You're so lucky to have your little brother cheering you on from the sidelines too. You'll have to be sure to teach him all of your moves out on the field when he gets old enough to play. Keep up the good work!
