Yes, it's HOT here! Yesterday was Field Day in the morning at Kingswood. K-2 was outside 9:30-11:30am and there were 22 games for them to do. I didn't go to all the stations with Ian (probably a good thing for him!!!) because I helped out at the horseshoes. Gavin was with me and he did very well. In fact, I think he got the closest to the pit! LOL Did I say that it was HOT? We had a shady spot near our game, so luckily we were able to stand in the shade. Ms. Braun even had some ice and chased Gavin with it...he thought that was so funny! He wanted her to chase her more, but she had to get back to her station.
When I got home from work in the afternoon, Gavin and his sitter met me in the driveway and Gavin had the big super soaker!!!! He was laughing hysterically when he got my car and ME a few times.
Ian had his last soccer game as a Shark. I cannot believe the season ended because it just went way too fast and I feel like we need a few more games!! He played really hard and had a few shots on goal. Afterwards, we had our awards ceremony and for the 4th season in a row...Ian was honored with the Most Coachable Award! It's given to the soccer player who is the best listener and will do what the Coach says! I like this award and I'm proud of Ian for receiving that award!
Afterwards, I had to run over to Kingswood for the last PTA meeting and then a few of us went out for drinks to celebrate Becky's year as President!
