Tonight was our last basketball practice of the season. Time sure does fly by! Usually we do trophies after the last game, but since our last game is this Saturday and year round school kids have school this Saturday (make up day from our snow day on Monday)...not everyone will be able to attend our game. So, Leslie and I thought we would give out the trophies tonight after practice. I was a nervous wreck talking in front of everyone (I don't think I'll ever get over that!!!), but I made it through. I'm definitely looking forward to our final game this Saturday, but really sad that the season will be over.
So yes...Ian received the Best Passer Award and Most Coachable Award. He has these unbelieveable bounce passes around defenders to his teammates. Amazing! Accurate and strong. He also received the Most Coachable Award because he is a great listener for the coaches, pays attention and will follow instructions. I told him that maybe we'll use that term at home to improve his listening skills!!!!!
